#### 283 Regulations 283 Regulations > > (1) The Regulations may make provision for or with respect to the amalgamation of State organisations. > > > (2) Any such regulations may deal with any of the matters dealt with in Chapter 3 of the [Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth in connection with the amalgamation of organisations registered under that Act. The regulations may adopt the provisions of that Chapter, with or without modification. > > > (3) Until any such regulations are made, the provisions of Division 9 of Part 3 of Chapter 5 of the [Industrial Relations Act 1991](/view/pdf/asmade/act-1991-34) (and the regulations under those provisions) apply to a State organisation as regulations made under this Division. > > **s 283:** Am 1997 No 55, Sch 1.10 \[1\]; 2010 No 35, Sch 1 \[14\].
