#### 281 Waiver of requirement to keep records 281 Waiver of requirement to keep records > The Industrial Registrar may, on application by a State organisation, exempt the organisation from any requirement under this Division that the organisation must keep a specific register, record or other document or lodge it with the Industrial Registrar if the Industrial Registrar is satisfied that the organisation is required to keep or lodge a register, record or document in compliance with a similar requirement of the [Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth. > > **s 281:** Am 1997 No 55, Sch 1.10 \[1\]; 2010 No 35, Sch 1 \[11\].
