29 Using ISSP grants for academic support
(1) Subject to subsection (2), a higher education provider may use an ISSP grant to provide academic support, including supplementary tuition, to an Indigenous student. (2) In using an ISSP grant to provide academic support, a higher education provider must give priority to Indigenous students who, in the provider’s opinion, are at risk of the following: (a) failing a course of study, or an element of the course; or (b) not completing a course of study to a required level.
