#### 28 Protection of information and documents (1) This section applies if documents having a national security classification or containing operationally sensitive information are provided by an agency to the Independent National Security Legislation Monitor. (2) The Independent National Security Legislation Monitor must: (a) make arrangements with the head of the agency for the protection of those documents while they remain in the Monitor’s possession; and (b) ensure that the documents are returned to the agency as soon as possible after the Monitor has examined them.
