Tasmania act
This Act repeals the Ida Bay Railway Act 1977 and preserves existing Ida Bay Railway leases by converting them into leases under section 26 of the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970, keeping their original terms and remaining duration (s5). The Railway Management Act 1935 will not apply to those leases (s5). Administration of the Act is temporarily assigned to the Minister for Primary Industries, Water and Environment and that Minister’s department until formal administrative arrangements are made (s6).
