#### 40 Successor in title liable for unpaid contract charges 40 Successor in title liable for unpaid contract charges > On a change in the ownership of land situated in the area of operations, the new owner of the land is liable to the Corporation for the amount of any contract charges unpaid in relation to the land as if the new owner had entered into the customer contract with the Corporation for the supply of the service or services to which the unpaid contract charges relate.
