18 Consents by adults to removal of blood
A person, other than a child, who is of sound mind may consent to the removal of blood from his body –
(a) for transfusion to another person; or
(b) [Section 18 Amended by No. 19 of 2006, s. 7, Applied:10 Nov 2006] for the purpose of the use of the blood or of any of its constituents for other therapeutic, medical or scientific purposes.
