#### 21ZB Effect of authority under this Part 21ZB Effect of authority under this Part > > (1) An authority under this Part is sufficient authority for the use, for therapeutic, medical or scientific purposes, of tissue removed from the body of a person during medical, dental or surgical treatment, if the tissue is used in accordance with the terms and any conditions of the authority. > > > (2) An authority under this Part does not authorise the removal of tissue from the body of a person. > > Note. > > Parts 2 and 3 provide authority to remove tissue (including blood) from the body of a living person for purposes such as transplantation and transfusion, and other therapeutic, scientific, and medical purposes. Parts 4 and 5 provide authority to remove tissue from the body of a person who is deceased.
