#### 8X Relevant offence and relevant civil contravention related searches and seizures (1) Subject to this Division, if an authorised officer has reasonable grounds for suspecting that there may be on or in any premises evidential material, the authorised officer and an officer assisting may: (a) enter the premises; and (b) search the premises for the evidential material; and (c) if the authorised officer or officer assisting finds the evidential material on or in the premises—seize it. (2) The authorised officer or officer assisting must not enter the premises unless: (a) the occupier of the premises has consented to the entry; or (b) the entry is made under a warrant issued under section 8Y.
