#### 73 Recovery of amounts due to Corporation and Secretary 73 Recovery of amounts due to Corporation and Secretary > > (1) Any charge, fee or other money due to the Corporation may be recovered by the Corporation as a debt in a court of competent jurisdiction. > > > (2) The Corporation may recover an amount awarded to it by a court in proceedings against a person for the recovery of money by reducing or cancelling, in accordance with Part 7, any rental rebate to which the person may otherwise be entitled. > > > (3) The Secretary may, by written notice, require a person to repay an amount paid to the person (or on the person’s behalf) by the Secretary by way of a rental subsidy if the Secretary is satisfied that the person is not entitled to the amount because the person obtained the amount by fraud. > > > (4) Any such amount is recoverable by the Secretary as a debt due to the Crown. > > **s 73:** Am 2008 No 7, Sch 1 \[4\]; 2018 No 45, Sch 2 \[22\].
