#### 71 Disclosure of information 71 Disclosure of information (cf Act No 163, 1985, s 14) > > (1) A person must not disclose any information obtained in connection with the administration or execution of this Act (or any other Act conferring or imposing functions on the Corporation) unless that disclosure is made— > > > > > (a) with the consent of the person from whom the information was obtained, or > > > > > (b) in connection with the administration or execution of this Act (or any such other Act), or > > > > > (c) for the purposes of any legal proceedings arising out of this Act (or any such other Act) or of any report of any such proceedings, or > > > > > (d) in accordance with a requirement imposed under the [Ombudsman Act 1974](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1974-068), or > > > > > (d1) to a law enforcement agency for the purposes of law enforcement (including in connection with the investigation of an offence) or ascertaining the whereabouts of an individual who has been reported to a police officer as a missing person, or > > > > > (e) with other lawful excuse. > > > > Maximum penalty—20 penalty units. > > > (2) In this section— > > > > law enforcement agency means any of the following— > > > > > (a) the NSW Police Force, or the police force of another State or a Territory, > > > > > (b) the New South Wales Crime Commission, > > > > > (c) the Australian Federal Police, > > > > > (d) the Australian Crime Commission, > > > > > (e) the Director of Public Prosecutions of New South Wales, of another State or a Territory, or of the Commonwealth, > > > > > (f) the Department of Communities and Justice, > > > > > (g) the Office of the Sheriff of New South Wales, > > > > > (h) a person or body prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this definition. > > **s 71:** Am 2019 No 20, Sch 1.13\[1\] \[2\].
