#### 20 Application of Public Works Act 1912 20 Application of [Public Works Act 1912](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1912-045) (cf Act No 62, 1976, s 11 (2) and (3)) > > (1) For the purposes of the [Public Works Act 1912](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1912-045), any acquisition of land by the Corporation is taken to be for an authorised work and the Corporation is, in relation to that authorised work, taken to be the Constructing Authority. > > > (2) Sections 34, 35, 36 and 37 of the [Public Works Act 1912](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1912-045) do not apply in respect of works constructed under this Act.
