Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This order removes three old export regulations that controlled how Australian apples, dried grapes (such as sultanas and raisins), and pears could be sold to overseas markets.

What it does:

Cancels three specific 2002 export orders that applied to apples, dried grapes, and pears going to any export market
Ends the special export controls that previously governed these specific products

Who it affects:

Growers and exporters of apples, dried grapes, and pears who were previously subject to these 2002 rules

Why it matters:

Businesses exporting these fruits no longer need to comply with these particular 2002 regulatory orders
This reduces red tape for exporters of these specific horticultural products
Important: Exporters must still follow all other applicable export laws, biosecurity requirements, and quality standards—these specific rules are simply no longer in force
