63A References to the Secretary to include references to Director‑General

A reference in this Act to the Secretary shall, in relation to the doing of any act or thing under this Act: (a) during the period commencing on 2 June 1982 and ending on 30 June 1982—be read as a reference to the Director‑General of Social Services or to a delegate of the Director‑General of Social Services; and (b) during the period commencing on 1 July 1982 and ending on 10 March 1983—be read as a reference to the Director‑General of Social Security or to a delegate of the Director‑General of Social Security.
