#### 105C Applications for insurer licences 105C Applications for insurer licences > > (1) An application for a licence as a licensed insurer under this Part may be made to the Authority by any corporation that carries on insurance business within the meaning of the [Insurance Act 1973](http://www.legislation.gov.au/) of the Commonwealth. > > > (2) An application cannot be made by a corporation that is required to be authorised to carry on that business under that Act unless the corporation is so authorised. > > **ss 105A–105R:** Ins 2017 No 28, Sch 1 \[61\].
