#### 103E Exemption for work done for public sector agencies 103E Exemption for work done for public sector agencies > > (1) This Part does not apply to or in respect of residential building work done by or on behalf of the Crown or a State owned corporation. > > > (2) If the residential building work is being done under a contract, the exemption from this Part will not apply unless the contract under which the work is carried out specifies that the person is relying on the exemption under this section. > > > (3) The regulations may specify that the exemption does not apply in the circumstances specified by the regulations and may impose conditions on the exemption. > > > (4) Regulations may be made for or with respect to the inclusion of consumer warnings in contracts for the sale of land on which residential building work was carried out by a person who was subject to the exemption. > > > (5) In this section— > > > > Crown has the same meaning as in the [Crown Proceedings Act 1988](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1988-070). > > **s 103E:** Ins 1996 No 122, Sch 4 \[3\].
