Item 1 of the table in section 41-10 of the Act states that other grants may be made for the purpose of promoting equality of opportunity in higher education.Each Division of this Part specifies separate programs for this purpose.Each program provides grants to Table A providers, to encourage the enrolment of Indigenous persons, people from a regional area or a remote area, and people from a low socioeconomic background.
