47 Specified bodies corporate and extra conditions of eligibility

(1) The following bodies corporate are specified for the purposes of item 1 in the table in section 41-10 of the Act: (a) higher education providers (providers) (other than Table A providers); or (b) employers that employ women undertaking a STEM qualification (Women in STEM employers).

Note: Under section 41-10 of the Act, Table A providers are eligible for grants made for the purpose of promoting equality of opportunity in higher education and do not need to be specified in these Guidelines.

(2) It is an extra condition of eligibility that Women in STEM employers and providers: (a) where requested, agree to enter into a deed of agreement with the Commonwealth under this Part in which the provider is allocated employer reserved places; and (b) enter into a restricted access arrangement in relation to allocated employer reserved places.

Note: The term employer reserved place is defined in Schedule 1 of the Act as a place, in a course of study, made available under a restricted access arrangement for the course.
