Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document is a government decision to cancel the vocational education registration of a specific private training college.

What it does:

Revokes (cancels) King's International College Ltd's approval as a VET (Vocational Education and Training) provider
Also cancels the original 2009 approval instrument that first granted the college permission to operate under the Higher Education Support Act 2003

Who it affects:

King's International College Ltd specifically (company number ACN 077 590 437)
Students enrolled or planning to enrol at this college who were expecting to use government loans to pay tuition fees

Why it matters: Without this approval, the college can no longer offer students access to VET FEE-HELP (the government loan scheme for vocational courses). Students must now pay tuition fees upfront or seek private funding. The government typically revokes these approvals when a provider fails to meet required educational, financial, or compliance standards.
