This instrument fixes the numerical administrative fee component amounts used to calculate the HELP Tuition Protection Levy for the calendar year beginning 1 January 2020. It sets $107 for paragraph 8(2)(a) and $9 for paragraph 8(2)(b) and comes into effect the day after registration.
Those figures feed directly into levy calculations under the Higher Education Support (HELP Tuition Protection Levy) Act 2020. Entities whose levies are calculated under that Act will have their 2020 levy partly determined by these amounts, affecting payment and reporting for that year.
