Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument cancels the government approval of Conwal and Associates Pty Ltd to operate as a VET (Vocational Education and Training) provider under Commonwealth law.

What this means:

The company is stripped of its status as an approved VET provider under the Higher Education Support Act 2003
It can no longer offer government-subsidised places or allow students to access VET FEE-HELP (a government loan scheme for vocational courses)
The company's original 2013 approval certificate is formally torn up

Who is affected:

Conwal and Associates Pty Ltd (ACN 121 967 235) — the provider loses access to Commonwealth funding
Students — cannot use government loans to study with this provider anymore

Why it matters: This is a regulatory enforcement action. Losing approval cuts off the provider from taxpayer-funded tuition subsidies and student loan programs, effectively stopping them from enrolling students who rely on government financial assistance.
