This instrument revokes Careers Australia Education Institute Pty Ltd’s approval as a vocational education and training (VET) provider under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 and cancels the earlier government instrument that allowed it to access Commonwealth funding.
That removes the company’s ability to offer VET FEE-HELP and other taxpayer-subsidised support, formalising the end of its access to public funds while it is in liquidation and protecting students from enrolling in courses no longer eligible for government assistance.

This instrument commences on the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislation.
This instrument is made under clause 29B of Schedule 1A to the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
In this instrument:
Act means the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
body means Careers Australia Education Institute Pty Ltd (In Liquidation) (ABN: 76 120 675 505, ACN: 120 675 505).
Note: The term VET provider has the same meaning as given in the Act.
The body’s approval as a VET provider is revoked in accordance with clause 29B of Schedule 1A to the Act. The Higher Education Support Act 2003 - VET Provider Approval (No. 12 of 2011) (F2011L01046) is revoked.
