This instrument revokes ACT Education Group Pty Ltd’s approval as a VET provider under clause 39 of Schedule 1A to the Higher Education Support Act 2003, effective 11 May 2017 (ss 2–5). It also specifies particular provisions of the Act and the VET Guidelines that continue to bind the body despite the revocation, so the body remains subject to certain obligations, liabilities and administrative requirements after approval ends (s6).

This instrument commences on 11 May 2017.
This instrument is made under clause 39 of Schedule 1A to the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
In this instrument:
Act means the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
body means ACT Education Group Pty Ltd ACN: 127 661 198.
Note: The term VET provider and VET Guidelines have the same meaning as given in the Act.
The body’s approval as a VET provider is revoked in accordance with subclause 39(1) of Schedule 1A to the Act subject to subclause 39(2A) of Schedule 1A to the Act. The Higher Education Support Act 2003 - VET Provider Approval (No. 10 of 2014)(F2014L00139) is revoked.
For the purposes of subparagraph 39(2A)(b)(ii) of Schedule 1A to the Act the following provisions of the Act and VET Guidelines continue to apply to the body as if the body were still approved as a VET provider: (1) clauses 18, 19, 26, 27, 27A, 39, 39B, 43-56, 59-62, 69, 70, 91-97 of Schedule 1A to the Act; and (2) sections 30, 41-80 and 88-93 of the VET Guidelines.
