64  Notices Who gets a notice?  (1) A *VET provider must give such notices as are required by the *VET Guidelines to a person:  (a) who is enrolled with the provider for a *VET unit of study; and  (b) who is seeking Commonwealth assistance under this Schedule for the unit. Contents of notice  (2) A notice must contain the information set out in the *VET Guidelines as information that must be provided in such a notice. Manner in which notice to be given  (2A) A notice must be given in the manner (if any) set out in the *VET Guidelines. Date by which notice to be given  (3) A notice must be given within the period set out in the *VET Guidelines. Purpose and effect of notice  (4) A notice under this clause is given for the purpose only of providing information to a person. Any liability or entitlement of a person under this Schedule is not affected by:  (a) the failure of a *VET provider to give a notice under this clause; or  (b) the failure of a VET provider to give such a notice by the date required under the *VET Guidelines; or  (c) the notice containing an incorrect statement.
