Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument formally approves TAFE Commission as a VET provider under the Higher Education Support Act 2003, allowing it to access Commonwealth funding and federal VET student loan schemes. Made by a delegated Group Manager in the Department of Education as a legislative instrument, it becomes effective after the parliamentary disallowance period. This recognition matters because it enables government-subsidised places and federal financial support for the provider and its students.
