Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document is an official notice revoking (cancelling) the approval of Harvest West Bible College Inc to operate as a Vocational Education and Training (VET) provider under Commonwealth law.

What happened:

The college voluntarily requested that the Minister cancel its approval under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (specifically clause 39 of Schedule 1A)
The original approval was granted in 2008 (Instrument No. 5 of 2008)
Dean Woodgate, acting as a delegate of the Minister for Education and Training, officially revoked the approval
The cancellation took effect on 19 October 2015

Why it matters: Without VET provider approval, the college could no longer access Commonwealth funding schemes (such as VET FEE-HELP) for its students. This type of administrative action is typically taken when an institution decides to cease offering vocational courses or wind down that part of its operations.
