Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

What this does: This document officially cancels Careers Australia Institute of Training Pty Ltd's registration as an approved Vocational Education and Training (VET) provider under Commonwealth law.

Who it affects:

The training company: It can no longer offer Commonwealth-subsidised courses or give students access to government training loans (such as VET FEE-HELP).
Students: Current students may lose access to ongoing government financial assistance and might need to transfer to another registered provider.

Why it matters: The company voluntarily asked the Minister to revoke its approval (a business decision to exit the system). This notice records that the Minister's delegate granted that request. The cancellation takes effect on 17 July 2013.

Key point: This is a routine administrative withdrawal, not a penalty or forced closure due to wrongdoing.
