Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document officially removes Nature Care College's status as an approved higher education provider under Australian law.

What this means:

Voluntary withdrawal: The college asked the government to cancel its approval (in March 2012), and the Minister's delegate agreed.
Effective date: The cancellation took effect on 30 September 2012.
Consequences: After this date, the college could no longer offer Commonwealth-supported university places or allow students to access government loans (like HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP). Essentially, it stopped being able to offer subsidised higher education funded by the Commonwealth.

This is a straightforward administrative decision under the Higher Education Support Act 2003, which allows providers to voluntarily exit the system by requesting revocation of their approval.
