Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This document formally removes the higher education provider status from the Australian Institute of Management South Australian Division Inc. This means the organization can no longer offer government-subsidised university places or allow students to access HELP loans (like HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP) to pay for courses.

Key points:

Voluntary withdrawal: The organization itself requested this revocation in writing — it wasn't stripped of its status due to misconduct or failing standards.
Effective date: The revocation takes effect on 15 May 2016.
Legal basis: The decision is made under the Higher Education Support Act 2003, which governs which institutions can receive Commonwealth funding and offer student loans.

Once the revocation takes effect, students can no longer use government financial assistance to study with this provider.
