#### 40 Instruments exempt from stamp duty etc 40 Instruments exempt from stamp duty etc > Any instrument that is executed for the purposes of disposing of, or otherwise dealing with, property in accordance with this Act is exempt: > > > (a) from payment of stamp duty under the [Stamp Duties Act 1920](/view/html/repealed/current/act-1920-047), and > > > (b) from payment of any other fee or charge that would otherwise be payable under any other Act in respect of the registration of any such instrument.
