#### 33 Temporary staff 33 Temporary staff > > (1) Each temporary staff member of a former institution shall, on the relevant commencement, become a temporary staff member of the corresponding institution. > > > (2) A temporary staff member of a former institution who, pursuant to this section, becomes a temporary staff member of the corresponding institution shall become such a staff member on the same terms and conditions (including conditions as to remuneration) as those on which he or she was employed at the former institution immediately before the relevant commencement. > > > (3) Such part of the remuneration referred to in subsection (2) as is salary or wages is subject to any adjustment necessary to give effect to any fluctuation in the applicable basic wage in force under Part 5 of the [Industrial Arbitration Act 1940](/view/pdf/asmade/act-1940-2) until the salary is, or the wages are, lawfully varied.
