#### 8 Variation, suspension and cancellation of accreditation 8 Variation, suspension and cancellation of accreditation > > (1) The Secretary may at any time: > > > > > (a) suspend or cancel the accreditation of a course of study in relation to an education institution, or > > > > > (b) vary or revoke any condition to which the accreditation of a course of study in relation to an education institution is subject, or > > > > > (c) impose additional conditions on the accreditation of a course of study in relation to an education institution. > > > (2) The Secretary may suspend or cancel the accreditation of a course of study in relation to an education institution only on one or more of the following grounds: > > > > > (a) that the institution requests the suspension or cancellation, > > > > > (b) that the institution no longer exists, > > > > > (c) that the institution has contravened this Act, the regulations, or a condition to which accreditation of the course is subject.
