18 Time for filing bond (1) Except by consent, a bail bond shall not be filed until after the expiration of twenty-four hours from the time when a notice, containing the names and addresses of the sureties and of the Registrar, Commissioner, Justice of the Peace or Notary Public before whom the bail was taken, has been served upon the adverse solicitor. (2) A copy of the notice, verified by affidavit, shall be filed with the bail bond.
