93 Permit applications (1) A person may apply to the Executive Director for a permit to carry out works or activities in relation to a registered place or registered object. (2) A permit application must— (a) be made in the prescribed form; and (3) If the applicant is not the owner or government asset manager of the registered place or registered object, the applicant must obtain the written consent of the owner or government asset manager of the place or object. S. 93(3A) inserted by No. 5/2023 s. 64. (3A) Despite subsection (3), if the works or activities for which a permit is sought relate to only part of a registered place or registered object, the applicant is only required to obtain the written consent of the owner or government asset manager of that part of the registered place or registered object. (4) An applicant may withdraw a permit application at any time.
