228 Effect of Governor in Council declaration (1) While an Order under section 227 is in effect, a person must not— (a) carry out any works on the place or object; or (b) cause or permit any development of the place; or (c) alter that place or object. (2) While an Order under section 227 is in effect, any planning permit, building permit, demolition permit or any other permit or authority relating to the development or use of that place or object or the land on which a place or object may be situated (whether issued or granted before or after the making of the Order) is of no force or effect.
