225 Possession of certain items is evidence of contravention (1) Evidence that a person had possession of a registered shipwreck, historic shipwreck, registered shipwreck artefact or historic shipwreck artefact at a relevant place without a permit under this Act is evidence, and in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof, that the person took the item in contravention of this Act or the underwater cultural heritage regulations. (2) In this section— ***at a relevant place*** means— (a) in or near a registered shipwreck or protected zone; or (b) in or on a vessel or vehicle on or in proximity to Victorian waters; or (c) on a jetty, dock, wharf, beach, landing or similar place or in an area next to such a place.
