16Immunity from liability

16 Immunity from liability (1) A member of the Heritage Council or a member of a committee is not liable for anything done or omitted to be done in good faith— (a) in performing any function, duty or power under this Act, the regulations or any other Act; or (b) in the reasonable belief that the act or omission was in the performance of a function, duty or power under this Act, the regulations or any other Act. (2) Any liability resulting from an act or omission that would, but for subsection (1), attach to a member of the Heritage Council or a member of a committee, attaches instead to the Heritage Council. 17 Further heritage administration Schedule 1 has effect. Division 2—Executive Director 18 Executive Director An Executive Director must be employed under Part 3 of the **Public Administration Act 2004** for the purposes of this Act.
