74 When decision on application to be made
(1) The decision maker must decide the application:
(a) for an application for major work – within 30 days after the
Minister receives the application; or
(b) for an application for other work – within 14 days after
receiving the application.
(2) However, the decision maker may extend the time for deciding the
application if the decision maker:
(a) considers it necessary to consult with affected persons or
others; or
(b) requests further information relating to the application.
(3) If the decision maker extends the time for deciding the application,
the decision maker must give written notice of the extension to:
(a) the applicant; and
(b) if the applicant is not the owner of the place or object – the
owner.
