60 How assessment made
In assessing whether the declaration for the heritage place or object
should be revoked, the Council:
(a) must have regard to the heritage assessment criteria for the
(b) must consider the submissions made to it in the public
(c) may carry out the research and make the inquiries it considers
appropriate; and
(d) may ask the owner of the place or object to give it information
relevant to the assessment.
