25 Deciding assessment
(1) The Council must, before the end of the assessment period, decide
whether or not the place or object is of heritage significance.
(2) If the Council decides the place or object is of heritage significance,
the Council must, before the end of the assessment period:
(a) prepare a statement of heritage value for the place or object;
and
(b) give a copy of the statement to the Minister.
(3) However, if the Council decides the place or object is not of
heritage significance and the assessment was made on a heritage
nomination, the Council must give the person who made the
nomination a review notice for the decision before the end of the
assessment period.
