#### 157 Penalties 157 Penalties > > (1) A person guilty of an offence against this Act shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding 10,000 penalty units or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 6 months, or both. > > > (2) A person guilty of an offence against the regulations shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding 50 penalty units. > > **s 157:** Am 1987 No 11, Sch 4 (13); 1992 No 112, Sch 1; 1998 No 138, Sch 1 \[64\] \[65\].
