Tasmania act
Applies the Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) to Tasmania (with modifications) from 10 February 2014, while excluding Chapter 2, Chapter 6 and Division 8 of Part 9.3. It makes owners, operators and drivers of heavy vehicles in Tasmania subject to the HVNL’s rules; Tasmanian authorities apply and enforce those rules and the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania) Act 2013 sets the local modifications while the full HVNL text appears in the Queensland Schedule.
