529 Using heavy vehicles contrary to vehicle defect notice

529 Using heavy vehicles contrary to vehicle defect notice

A person must not use, or permit to be used, on a road a heavy vehicle in contravention of a vehicle defect notice.

Maximum penalty—

(a) for a major defect notice or minor defect notice—$6000; or

(b) for a self-clearing defect notice—$3000.
