575 Revocation of an improvement notice (1) An improvement notice given to a person by an authorised officer who is a police officer may be revoked, by giving notice of the revocation to the person, by— (a) the relevant police commissioner; or (b) an authorised officer who— (i) is a police officer; and (ii) has the relevant police commissioner’s written authority to issue improvement notices under this Division; and (iii) is more senior in rank to the police officer who gave the notice to the person. (2) An improvement notice given to a person by an authorised officer who is not a police officer may be revoked by the Regulator by giving notice of the revocation to the person. (3) Section 23 of Schedule 1 does not apply in relation to the revocation of the improvement notice.
