505 Procedure for entry with consent (1) This section applies if an authorised officer is intending to ask the occupier for consent to enter a place under this Division (otherwise than under section 502). (2) Before asking for consent, the authorised officer must identify himself or herself to a person who is an occupier of the place and is present by producing— (3) Subsection (2)(a) does not apply to a police officer in uniform.
