399 What employer or operator must do if odometer (1) This section applies if an employer of the driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle or an operator of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle is informed under section 397 of malfunctioning or suspected malfunctioning of the vehicle’s odometer. (2) The employer or operator must not, without a reasonable excuse, drive, or permit another person to drive, the fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle unless the owner of the vehicle has complied with section 398.
