124 Restriction on grant of mass or dimension exemption (1) The Regulator may grant a mass or dimension exemption (permit) for a heavy vehicle only if— (a) the Regulator is satisfied the use of the heavy vehicle on a road under the exemption will not pose a significant risk to public safety; and (b) each relevant road manager for the exemption has consented to the grant; and exemption under the law of the relevant jurisdiction have been obtained by the applicant or have been otherwise given.
