sch.8-sec.10 Allowing overtaking
This section applies if a class 1 heavy vehicle is being driven on a road, or a part of a road, that does not have a separate lane for overtaking vehicles. The person driving the class 1 heavy vehicle must, at regular intervals and to the extent reasonably practicable, move the vehicle off the road to allow other vehicles to overtake it. (sch.8-sec.10-ssec.1) This section applies if a class 1 heavy vehicle is being driven on a road, or a part of a road, that does not have a separate lane for overtaking vehicles. (sch.8-sec.10-ssec.2) The person driving the class 1 heavy vehicle must, at regular intervals and to the extent reasonably practicable, move the vehicle off the road to allow other vehicles to overtake it.
