39 Professional standards
(1) A contracted service provider must, in relation to the provision of hearing services to a voucher‑holder, comply with applicable professional standards as set by the practitioner professional bodies. (2) A contracted service provider must ensure that, where it is clinically appropriate, a voucher‑holder is referred to a medical practitioner prior to a hearing device being fitted. (3) This section does not affect the operation of any other law, including a law of a State or Territory.
