#### 38 Investments 38 Investments (cf AHS Act s 31) > > (1) A local health district may invest money held by it— > > > > > (a) if the local health district is a GSF agency for the purposes of Part 6 of the [Government Sector Finance Act 2018](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2018-055)—in any way that the local health district is permitted to invest money under that Part, or > > > > > (b) if the local health district is not a GSF agency for the purposes of Part 6 of the [Government Sector Finance Act 2018](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2018-055)—in any way authorised for the time being for the investment of trust funds and in any other way approved by the Minister with the concurrence of the Treasurer. > > > (2) A local health district may at any time dispose of any of its investments and apply the proceeds for the purpose of exercising its functions. > > > (3) This section is, in relation to the investment of any funds, subject to the terms of any trust applying to those funds. > > **s 38:** Am 2018 No 70, Sch 3.31 \[1\].
